Welcome Aboard Guilt Trip Airlines

"After everything I've done for you..." Please fasten your seatbelt.

Guilt is the family currency. It's paid in sighs, in 'it's fine, don't worry about me', and in that one voice note that's just breathing.

Here's the truth: you can be grateful AND have limits. Both live in the same house. Gratitude doesn't mean unlimited access to your time, money or sleep.

Script for next time: 'I love you and I'm grateful. I still can't do this one.' Then stop talking. Silence is not rude. Silence is your seatbelt.

Now unclench your jaw.
